STREAMING WEEKENDS @10AM EST

SMOOTH WEEKEND™ features the newest of the new releases. The show was created in 2007 by host Allen Kepler to give fans a chance to hear their favorite smooth jazz tunes every weekend.  Several years later, with so many independent artists creating music, Kepler saw the need for the program to make a shift to feature the hottest new releases weekly.

Over the course of the show’s history, the SMOOTH WEEKEND™ has aired on both smooth jazz radio stations, as well as on other formatted radio stations to give fans in different localities a chance to hear their favorite music, even when no local station existed. Today, the show’s focus is on new artists releases and new tunes from core format artists like Dave Koz, Kenny G, Brian Culbertson and many more.

Each week, the SMOOTH WEEKEND™ features a “Feedback Track” where listeners can vote and share their opinions online at www.SmoothJazzNetwork.com.  Kepler also features a “Smooth Redo,” a new jazzy remake of a classic tune.

You can catch the SMOOTH WEEKEND™ on the Smooth Jazz Network®’s stream on iHeart Radio and LIVE365 at 10AM eastern time both Saturday and Sunday, as well as at various times on over 25 radio stations and streams worldwide.

STREAMING WEEKENDS @2PM EST

SMOOTH JAZZ CLASSICS™ features the music of George Benson, David Sanborn, Chuck Mangione, Kenny G, Al Jarreau, Grover Washington Jr, Sade, Herb Alpert, Spyro Gyra and the artists who were there when the smooth jazz revolution happened in the 1980’s.

SMOOTH JAZZ CLASSICS™ was created by host Allen Kepler in 2021, as a way to look back at, and enjoy an era of music that included some of the top selling, award winning artists of the 80’s and 90’s. The show is designed for the core smooth jazz fans, who numbered in the millions in the 80’s 90’s and 00’s, as well as a younger audience who may not be familiar with much of the genre’s originators.

Each week, the SMOOTH JAZZ CLASSICS™ features a blend of music reminiscent of what fans might have heard on stations like WNUA Chicago, KTWV Los Angeles, KKSF San Francisco, WQCD New York City, KIFM San Diego, KOAI Dallas, WJZW Washington DC, WVMV Detroit, WLVE Miami, WNWV Cleveland, KYOT Phoenix, KWJZ Seattle and other legendary radio stations, who show creator Allen Kepler worked with or consulted.
