Al Jarreau Tribute Concert Next Week

Fans of the late Al Jarreau, the renowned jazz singer and seven-time Grammy award winner, will have the opportunity to celebrate his life and legacy at a special tribute concert. Kirk Whalum, Regina Belle, Chris Walker, and Bob James will be performing Friday, February 24th at the Koger Center for the Arts in Columbia, South Carolina.

Presented by the Auntie Karen Foundation, this year's "Legends Of..." concert and auction Performers will include saxophonist Gerald Albright, guitarist Norman Brown, and singer-songwriter Patti Austin, among others.

Al Jarreau, who passed away in 2017, was known for his unique vocal style that blended jazz, pop, and R&B. He won seven Grammy awards over the course of his career, including for his hits "Moonlighting," "After All," and "Boogie Down."
