Eric Darius was surprised with quite an honor at the inaugural Citril starz Awards Gala.
"I'm so honored, humbled, and pleased" Darius wrote after receiving the Best Jazz, Saxophonist, Composer, Producer, and Musician of the year award. He was performing at the gala and says he had no idea they were planning on honoring him.
The Citril Starz Foundation is dedicated to encouraging and empowering children to pursue the arts. You can learn more about them here.
