The voice who brought us "SWEET LOVE" back in the early days of SMOOTH JAZZ and who inspired the great Michael Jordan with her song "Giving You The Best That I Got" says she's retired. Baker, who turns 59 next week says she's enjoying retirement and has no plans for a new CD or tour. It's been a few years, but Baker's last release was her Grammy nominated single "Lately" and was to be the first single of a new album that never came to fruition. More on this news at BET.

Guitarist George Benson has announced a 2017 tour. According to his website, Benson will begin January 19th in Tucson, Arizona. Benson also has dates in Coachella, Beverly Hills, Irvine and Colorado Springs before he heads to the UK for a show at Scarborough's Open Air Theatre in July before taking this tour international.
