Sade's new tune "Flower of the Universe" is an original song in the upcoming Disney film "A Wrinkle in Time."
Sade hasn't released any new songs since "The Ultimate Collection" nearly seven years ago. Ava DuVernay, the director of the upcoming film, says she asked Sade never thinking she'd "say yes" but it was "a dream come true" when she did. The song was composed originally for the film.
A Wrinkle in Time is based on Madeleine L’Engle’s classic science fiction novel. It hits theaters this Friday, March 9th. Watch the trailer here.
