"Inception" is a new single from composer, producer, and pianist LaShawn D. Gary. Featuring Mark Whitfield, it comes from his forthcoming second album, expected this April.
Gary is photographed, left, with his recent regional Emmy award. With Bill Bowen and Mike Ellison, Gary released the music video "Detroit: One Nation Under A Groove." The video had over a million hits on YouTube the first month and went on to win "Outstanding Music Video" and "Outstanding Urban Recording" at the Detroit Music Awards. The video was adapted to a commercial for Visit Detroit and won the regional Emmy for that category.
