Hello Kenny, I’ve been to four of your concerts. You are absolutely amazing !! I wanted to no are you truly looking foward to meeting your fans on Kenny G, cruise to Alaska? Out of all things what made you decide on a crusie? Myself two sisters & friend will be attending this cruise and I love for them to meet you. Also l’ll be attending your concert @ Yoshis in San Francisco with 4 co-workers. If you have time do you think we can get a picture with you?
Hi Sandy and Mr G,
Sandy thanks for replying back to me the other day. My question for you guys is as follows:
I am a retired Marine where I served as a Military Policer Officer and a sniper in the country of Korea. I will always be a Marine and carry certian scars but with no regrets. It was a honor and to serve my country. If I were asked again I would do it in a heart beat. As they say, “Once a Marine, always a Marine”. Now I am on a personal quest and was wondering if there was anyway you guys could be of assestance. After leaving the Marine Corps I obtained my degree in Criminal Justice and have been in Law Enforcement for the past 18 years. Recently I held the postion as a Nuclear Proteciton Officer but had to resgin my appoinment due to a tactical injury so I am no longer able to presure the career that I am so very passionate about. I do have a second passion and that is music. I have played the saxaphone from grade school being motivated by Boots Randalph and on into my adult life. My favorite sax to play is the saprano sax and that is in thanks to you Mr. G.. I did own a saprano that I had owned for 15 years but was forced to sell it this past year due to the need to pay bills when I was injured and unable to work and miss palying it greatly.
My quest that I feel very strongly to do at this point in my life is to put on my Dress Blues and go to as many fallen brothers and sisters finial resting day and play taps for them and there loved ones. Of course I will be doing this as my tribute to the fellow men and women that has served and given there all. Sandy you had thanked me for my service to my country but please I am so undeserving. I did what I had to do to help defend and protect our freedom. Please send your thanks to those who have either given there life for freedom or to those with a missing limb, server burns or those who struggle with sever PTSD. They are the ones to be thanked ma,am not I. I only did what any Marine would do and that was to follow orders and help those who couldnt help themselves and defend our wonderful FREE country.
So I guess what I am asking is if you or Mr.G could help me obtained a saprano sax to help honor those and their familys who have given their all through music of our final song of rest, it would greatly be appreciated.
God bless you guys and Semper Fi.
Respectfully Submitted,
