A noted voice actress, Sandy can be heard on national commercials, internet videos, in-store audio and more- including a recurring role as the voice of Detroit Public Television. Sandy considers “mom” to be her most important title and believes finding a healthy balance in life is key. She hopes to pass that along to her listeners: “Other than the thrill of working with someone with the magnitude of Kenny G, I am most excited about helping people to get a successful start to their days,” she says.

    Sandy,

I look forward to listen to the two of you on my ride into work. The two of you is a good way to wake up and start the day. Even more important FM 87.7 is my primary station that I listen to 98% of the time, only because of a financial show (David R.) that I listen to from 11 – 2 pm. Thank you for doing a great job!

Hi Sandy…I just joined your site so I am able to listen to your Morning Shows with KennyG! I need something more uplifting these days as the “News” breaks, on the radio out here in Southern Utah, are nothing but tragedy upon tragedy…very sad what is happening in our world right now.

I just wanted to say, “YOooooo…and Happy Good Night” to you. I am from the Detroit area also. St. Clair Shores, on the East side, was where I grew up thru High School graduation in 1971 and then I was off to 5 years of college at Eastern Michigan University…the rest is just history.

You look like a happy and kind soul. I hope you will bring some joy and laughter into Kenny’s life. He surely deserves to have much more happiness. Maybe some grounding and taking time to really breathe, is what is in order for such a busy, busy, man.

I feel this will be a good thing…You are going to become an outstanding Team! Best of Luck to both you and Kenny. Julie

    • Hi there Julie… and thanks for the compliments! Thanks for sharing your story too! It is truly a blessing to be paired with Kenny G. He is not only the wonderful musician that the world knows and loves, but a kind person –and he seems to be a terrific father to his kids. He is truly focused and committed to excellence — and I have learned a lot from him already!

Hey there Sandy…So glad smooth jazz is back on the free airways…hahahha
Having trouble finding info on the jazz fests for the summer…You always did such an awesome job with them and they were so much fun….they made my summer !
Canton, Trenton, Southfield, River Raisin, Chene Park, Sterling Hts…. so much fun !!!!!
How do we find out where they will be?

  • Todd:

Sandy, you all have played a certain tune a couple of days in a row at around the same time. No one ever says what the name of the tune is. Today (May 19th), you played it at around 7:20 am EDT. It was played between “Mercy, Mercy Me” by Robert Palmer, and “Bird Island” by Paul Hardcastle.
Any way to find out the name of that tune so I can pick it up? Any help from the board here is welcome also. I’ve heard it a number of times, but no one ever says who is performing artist. It’s an excellent tune.
Enjoy the show. I catch every morning on the way to work

    Thanks.

    • Hi Todd, were you listening on a stream or a local station?

      • Todd:

Sandy, I was listening on a local station, WKYL in Lexington, KY.

I really like the tune I heard, and have heard it a number of times, but no one ever identifies the artist. Appreciate any help.

        Again, enjoy your show.

    Sandy & Kenny,
When will you be updating, fixing, correcting all the static that comes thru my radio when I tune into your station? I love The Oasis but can not tolerate all the static! I can’t even enjoy your music (which is my favorite genre) when I can’t hear it through all the static! And there are times when that Ohio station comes in loud & clear!!!!! Please fix this so I can enjoy you any time of the day………..all day!
on another point……….please play less insturmentals! I long for the days of Luther, Barry, Anita, Sade when you could listen and even sing along. Enough with the instrumentals! Although, my husband is a big fan!!!

  • Hi Donna, I don’t have the answer but I do know that they are working on the signal challenges. In the meantime, you can listen online or if you get an HD Radio, you can listen on 107.5 HD-2 where the signal is clear. We really appreciate you listening and hope you’ll keep doing so! ~Sandy

  • Nancy:
